Move a client to another coach
Reassign clients to a different coach or give a client more than one coach.
Where: Web or mobile app, for admins
Move clients to a different coach, or take the coach off a client. You can also give a client more than one coach.
Steps
On mobile, only org admins and team admins see the assignment setting. Staff admins do not. They can move clients on web.
Open the Clients tab and select the client.
Select More, then Edit.
In Coach Assignment, select the Selected Coach field. It shows the current coach. These names use your organization's word for your coaches, such as Trainer Assignment.
Search for the coach in the search box (for example Search coaches...), or pick Unassigned to remove the coach.
Select Save.
Give a client more than one coach
This is on web. An additional coach can see and coach a client. The client keeps one main coach. Use this when two coaches train the same client.
Open the client.
Select the pencil icon next to the client's name. Edit Client opens.
Find Additional Coaches. Search by name or email and pick one or more coaches. Select the x on a name to remove it.
Select Save Changes.
The client's page now shows who else has access, like Additional Coaches: Jane Doe, Sam Lee.
Common questions
How do I move clients to a team?
On web, tick the clients, then select Move to team. Pick a Destination team and select Move to team. This also clears their coach assignments.
What happens to the client's additional coaches?
They keep access. If you pick one of them as the new coach, they become the main coach and leave the additional list.
Why is Reassign grey?
Personal profiles cannot be reassigned. The list shows "Personal profiles cannot be deleted or reassigned. Deselect them to use these actions."
Why do I not see Coach Assignment on mobile?
On mobile, only org admins and team admins see it. Other coaches and staff admins do not.
Who can add additional coaches?
The client's main coach, team admins and org admins. You pick from active coaches in your organization.
I do not see Additional Coaches.
It does not show for personal profiles, for clients on a team instead of a coach, or if you are only an additional coach on this client.
What can an additional coach do?
See and coach the client. They cannot archive, delete or move the client.
Can I add additional coaches on mobile?
No. Use web.
