Building a Meal Plan Manually

Build a client's meal plan yourself, one day at a time, or bring one in from a file. You can also view, edit and delete saved plans. To have Borelli write plans for you, see Generate a meal plan.

Steps

Build a plan by hand

  1. Open the client's Nutrition tab.

  2. Pick today or a later day in the week bar. A day with no plan shows No meals planned.

  3. Tap Build manually. The Build meal plan screen opens.

  4. Tap Add food on a meal. Search ingredients, or tap Scan barcode to scan a food. Add the foods to the meal.

  5. Tap Use this day for.... Pick the dates that get this plan: tap dates, or use Mon - Fri, Sat - Sun or Every day.

  6. Tap Apply. If a date already has a plan, Demotu asks "Replace saved plan?" Tap Replace plans to continue.

View or delete a meal plan

  1. Open the client, then open the Nutrition tab.

  2. Pick the day in the week bar.

  3. Tap the Meal plan card. The plan for that day opens with each meal and its foods.

  4. To delete it, tap the trash icon at the top right. Tap Delete plan to confirm. Logged meals stay in place, but the client no longer sees planned meals for that day.

You cannot edit a saved plan on mobile. To change it, delete the plan and build it again, or use Regenerate with AI if you see it. See Generate a meal plan.

To delete several plans, tap Plans at the top of the Nutrition tab. Tap Select, pick the plans, then tap Delete. Tap Delete selected to confirm. Logged food stays.

Common questions

Can I edit or delete a Library item?

No. You can add items only.

Can I add recipes or new ingredients on mobile?

No. On mobile, you search ingredients or scan a barcode when you build a plan. You cannot add recipes, or create ingredients or recipes, there.

Does import cost credits?

No. Import does not use Borelli credits or count toward your Borelli limit.

Why can't I build a plan for a past day on mobile?

Mobile builds plans for today and later days. A past day with no plan says "No plan was set for" and the date. Tap Plan upcoming days to jump back to today.
