Build a block
Create, edit, copy, move and delete blocks of weeks.
Where: Web or mobile app, for coaches
A block is several weeks of workouts for one client. Build it on the Training tab, then edit, copy, move or delete it.
Steps
Build a block
Open the client, go to Training, and tap the Blocks card.
Tap the + button at the top right (Create Block).
Enter a Name, Start date, and # Weeks.
Pick at least one Block focus and at least one day under Training days. Mobile requires both.
Tap Create Block.
Build a block with Borelli
Open the block and tap Generate.
On the Generate tab, fill in the options. If the block has workouts, pick From scratch or Continue block.
Tap Generate Block.
To add to workouts that exist, use the Extend tab.
Edit, move, copy or delete
Edit: tap the Blocks card, tap the block, tap Block actions (the three dots), then Edit block. Change what you need and tap Update Block.
Move all workouts: open the block menu and tap Update dates. Enter days under Shift all workouts (days), or tap a workout to set its date. Tap Update dates.
Copy a week: tap the copy icon on the week. In Copy week, choose Target or Actual. Under Copy to, pick weeks and tap Copy to N weeks.
Delete a week: tap the red trash icon next to Week N. In Delete Week N?, tap Delete. This removes all workouts in that week and cannot be undone.
Delete a block: tap Block actions, then Delete block, then Yes.
Copy a block: the mobile app has no clone button. Use Save as template in the block menu, then apply the template. See Apply a template from a client's Training tab.

Common questions
I lost my block before saving. Can I get it back?
Yes. On web, Demotu asks "Recover Unsaved Block?" when you return.
Do weights go up each week on their own?
No. You set the numbers. If Borelli builds the block, it plans the progression.
What does Borelli know about my client?
The client's profile: age, height, weight, injuries, sport, goals, test results, and preferences.
I changed the start date. Why did the workouts not move?
Editing a block does not move its workouts. Use Mass update dates on web or Update dates on mobile.
What gets copied when I clone a block?
All workouts, with sections, supersets, exercises, and planned numbers. Workouts start as not completed. Exercise comments are not copied.
Can I clone a block to a different client?
No. Save it as a template (Save as Template in the block's three-dot menu on web), then assign the template. See Assign a template to clients.
I only want to remove some workouts. What do I do?
Delete just those workouts. See Build a workout.
I do not see the Coverage button.
It shows only in Calendar view, and only for weeks where an exercise trains a known muscle group.
How is the muscle level worked out?
Each exercise adds points to its muscle groups. More sets give more points. The main muscle counts more.
The block list is empty or I cannot find a block.
Select All in the filter, and use the page arrows.
The import looks wrong.
It is in beta. Email the file to support@demotuapp.com.
Is there a Borelli limit?
Yes. Each generation counts against your monthly Borelli limit. On web, extending workouts uses 0.5 Borelli Workouts per workout.
