Districts

A district is a set of teams, like a region. Give a staff admin a district instead of picking teams one by one.

Steps

  1. Open Admin, then the Staff tab.

  2. Select Districts. The Manage districts window opens.

  3. Select New district. The Create district window opens.

  4. Enter a District name.

  5. Use Search teams to find teams. Tick each team to add.

  6. Select Save.

To change a district, select Edit next to it in the Existing districts list. Before you make a district, the list says "No districts have been created yet."

Give a staff admin a district

On the Staff tab, open the person's row menu. Select Promote to Staff Admin, or Edit Staff Admin Access if they are already a staff admin. In the Set Staff Admin Access window, choose Selected access, tick the district, and select Save. See Change a staff member's role.

When you add a new staff member as a Staff Admin, you can also pick districts in the Districts box. See Add a staff member.

Common questions

Do staff admins pick up teams I add later?

Yes. Staff admins assigned to a district follow its team list.

I don't see the Districts button.

Only org admins see it. Some organizations don't use districts, so the button may be hidden. Contact support if you need it.
