Teams

A team is a set of coaches, like one gym location. This article covers how to make a team, fill it, and choose how team members share clients. Only org admins can do these steps.

Create a team

  1. Open Admin, then the Staff tab.

  2. Select New Team. The Create New Team window opens.

  3. Enter a Team Name.

  4. Select Submit.

  5. Add coaches to the new team. See the next part.

Add coaches to a team

When a coach joins a team, their clients are added to the team's client list. When a coach leaves a team, those clients leave the list too.

Add from the team

  1. Open Admin, then the Staff tab.

  2. Select Add Coach on the team's header. The Add Coach(s) window opens.

  3. Type in Search and pick the coach from the list.

  4. Pick a Role Type: Team Admin or Coach.

  5. Select Submit.

Add from a coach's row

  1. Open the ... menu on a coach's row outside a team, such as in Unassigned.

  2. Select Add to Team.... The Move [name] window opens, with your teams listed.

  3. Select the team. The coach joins right away.

Move, remove, or change a coach's role on a team

These items are in the ... menu on the coach's row inside the team.

  • Move to... moves the coach, with their role, to another team.

  • Remove from Team takes them off the team. They stay in your organization.

  • Change to Team Admin or Change to Coach changes their role on that team. A team admin shows an Admin tag in the team.

Let every coach on a team see the team's clients

By default, only a team's admins see the clients shared with that team. Team Client Sharing lets every coach on a team see and edit those clients, without making them team admins.

  1. Open Admin, then the Settings tab.

  2. Find Team Client Sharing under Feature Toggles.

  3. Switch it on.

  4. Read the warning, Expand access across this location? It says every team member can view and edit these records.

  5. Select Enable team-wide access. Select Cancel to keep it off.

The change applies right away. Switch it off to go back. Turning it off needs no confirmation.

Put coaches' personal profiles in a shared team

A personal profile is a coach's own profile, marked Self. Coaches use it to practice assessments. Pick one team to hold all of them so its members can practice together.

  1. Open Admin, then the Settings tab.

  2. In Feature Toggles, find Personal profiles for Coaches (it uses your staff label).

  3. Open Default profile team. Pick a team, or pick No shared team.

  4. Select Save profile team. You see "Profile team saved."
