Take a movement assessment and read your results

Record each movement with your phone camera.

Where: Mobile app

Your coach assigns a movement assessment. You record each movement with your phone camera. The app scores your movement and shows your results.

Start the assessment

  1. Open Home.

  2. Find the red card called New Assigned Movement Assessment. It says 1 assigned · Tap to Start. Tap it.

  3. If your organization needs consent, a Before recording sheet opens before you start. Read the consent. If it asks, pick your age and sign. Tap Agree and continue. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must sign and tap Sign and continue.

The card goes away after you finish.

Record each movement

  1. The screen shows a card for each movement. The top shows how many movements you finished, such as 1/4 movements completed.

  2. Tap a movement card. The first time, a how-to video opens. Watch it, then tap Go to Camera. To watch the video again later, tap Instructions on the card.

  3. Put your phone where it can see your whole body. Tap Record. A short countdown runs. Then do the movement.

  4. Tap Stop recording when you finish.

  5. The Review movement screen plays your video. Tap SAVE to keep it. Tap Retake movement to try again. For a movement with two sides, tap SAVE AND PERFORM LEFT and do the other side.

  6. Repeat for each movement.

When you save the last movement, the app sends the assessment on its own. A screen shows Submitting assessment. Tap Cancel on that screen to stop it. Then tap Complete Assessment when you are ready.

Read your results

  • Insights has tabs. Concerns shows areas to watch. Exercises shows exercises that may help. Symmetry compares left and right. Breakdown shows Overall, Mobility, Stability, and Comp (compensation) scores. A tab shows only when there is something to show.

  • Borelli Summary is a short written summary. It shows only when your organization turned it on.

  • Each movement has its own card with a Replay button to watch your recording.

If the results are not ready, the screen says "Your recordings are saved. You can close this screen." You get a notification when your results are ready or a movement needs recording again.

Common questions

My results say "Pending coach review".

Your coach reviews some assessments first. You can watch your replays now. Your scores show after your coach approves them.

Can I start an assessment on my own?

No. Your coach assigns it. The card on Home shows up when you have one.

The app cannot see me well.

Use a well-lit room. Step back until your whole body is in the frame. Keep your arms, knees, and feet in view the whole time.
