Find, open and delete clients
Search and filter your roster, step between clients, and delete clients.
Where: Web or mobile app, for coaches
Use Home to find a client fast, move from one client to the next, and delete clients you no longer need. To reassign, tag, or archive clients, see Act on many clients at once from Home and Archive a client.
Steps
Find a client
Open the Clients tab.
Type in the search box, select Filters to filter, and use Sort by to change the order.
Delete a client
Deleting cannot be undone. If you may want the client back, archive them instead.
Open the Clients tab and select the client.
Select More, then Delete permanently. Delete permanently? opens. It says "This removes {client name} and all of their data. This cannot be undone."
Select Delete. You go back to the Clients list.
Common questions
Why is an arrow gray?
You are at the first or the last client of the page you came from.
Does "Next client" use my organization's word?
Yes. If your organization says "athlete", the tooltip says Previous athlete or Next athlete when you point to an arrow. The buttons are arrow icons only.
Why do I not see the counter?
The counter hides in a narrow browser window. It also hides when you open a client from a place that gives no list.
Why do the arrows not work after I open a client from Calendar or the activity feed?
Calendar and the activity feed do not pass a list. The arrows then work only if the client is on the page of the client list you last loaded on Home. For the full list, open the client from the client list on Home or from a group.
What happens to a client who has an app login when I delete them?
The warning says their data is removed. For a client with their own app login, this is not the full result on a single delete. The client leaves your list, but their own login and account stay. They are no longer linked to you. A client without an app login is removed completely. If you tick one client and use Delete in the list, their data is removed even if they have an app login.
Why is Delete grayed out in the list?
A personal profile is in the selection. The window says "Personal profiles cannot be deleted or reassigned. Deselect them to use these actions." Remove the tick from it.
Why does the button say Archive, or why is Delete missing?
Some organizations keep every client record. For them, Archive replaces Delete in the list menu and replaces Delete Client on web. On mobile, Delete permanently does not show. If your organization uses reporting, deleting archives the client instead of removing their data. On web, the Delete Client box then says "If reporting is active, deleting this client will archive them instead of permanently removing their data." In these organizations, Delete permanently does not show on mobile for a client with appointment or sales history.
I am an additional coach on this client. Can I delete them?
No. Only the client's main coach or an admin can.
Why do I not see Delete Client for one client?
On web, guest clients have no pencil icon, so you cannot edit or delete them there. On mobile, you can delete a guest client from More. Your own test profile cannot be deleted on web or mobile.
