Set up assessments: batteries, scoring and preferences
Save batteries, edit scoring profiles and colors, and set assessment preferences.
Where: Web or mobile app, for coaches
Set up how assessments work in your account. Save batteries (sets of movements), tune scoring profiles and score colors, and choose your assessment preferences. Some settings are for org admins only.
Steps
Save a battery
Tap Start Assessment and choose a client.
Choose two or more movements.
Tap Save.
Enter a Battery name. If you see Organization and Personal, choose one.
Tap Save.
Or make a battery in Setup:
Tap the + button, then Settings, then Setup.
Under Assessments, tap Assessment Batteries.
Tap New Battery.
Type a Battery name.
If you see Visibility, tap Personal (only you) or Organization (everyone in your organization).
Under Assessments, tap each movement to add it. Use Search assessments to find one. Pick at least one.
Tap Save. You see "Battery created."
Change, copy or remove a battery
Open Assessment Batteries as above.
On the battery's row, tap the pencil icon to edit, the two-pages icon to copy, or the trash icon to remove. You can also tap the row to see its movements, then tap Edit, Duplicate, or Delete.
For edit, change the name or movements and tap Save. You see "Battery updated."
For copy, you see "Battery duplicated." The new battery is named "(name) Copy." Edit it as you like.
For remove, confirm Delete battery with Delete. You see "Battery deleted." This archives the battery, the same as Archive on web.
You see the pencil and trash icons only on batteries you may change: your own personal batteries, and organization batteries if you are an org admin or org programmer. Other coaches see only the copy icon on organization batteries.
Scoring profiles
Open Settings, then Setup, then Scoring.
Profiles are grouped as Default, My Templates, and Org Templates. Choose one, or tap New Template to add one.
Score colors and scoring preferences are on web only.
Change scoring for one client
Open the client and go to the Assessments tab.
Tap Ranges.
Choose a template, or change the targets, then save.
Ranges shows only when your organization allows coaches to edit ranges.
Turn the AI summary on or off
Open Settings, then Setup, then Coaching Preferences.
Turn AI summary on or off.
When on, assessment results include an AI-written summary that explains the movement findings and recommendations. If you do not see AI summary, your organization has turned it off.
Check results before your client sees them
On mobile, Coaching Preferences also has Approve assessments. See Send a repeating assessment and manage your assignments.
Common questions
Can all coaches use my battery?
Only if it is saved as Organization. Only organization admins and organization programmers can save organization batteries. Organization admin accounts always save to the organization. Other coaches can save personal batteries only.
Why are Edit and Archive grayed out?
You can only change batteries you are allowed to manage. In an organization, only org admins and organization programmers can change an organization battery.
Why don't I see a Visibility choice?
Only org admins and organization programmers choose between Personal and Organization.
Why can't I edit the Default scoring profile?
In an organization, the default belongs to the organization. The editor says "Only org admins can edit this organization default scoring template." Select New scoring profile and start from the default to make your own copy.
Why don't I see New scoring profile?
Your org admin has turned off scoring profiles for coaches.
Who sets scoring for the whole organization?
The organization admin account. In Setup, Scoring, it opens Scoring preferences and turns the coach settings on or off.
Why don't I see Scoring preferences?
Only solo coaches and organization admin accounts see it. Coaches who belong to an organization do not, even if they are org admins. Ask your organization's admin.
